Aquatics ClassTechnique Tuesdays
Are you curious to see what your swim stroke really looks like? Watching yourself swim on video can yield some great feedback on your swimming technique that you may have not realized. During the month of February and March you will have the opportunity to have yourself recorded on video while you swim. Technique Tuesdays will be offered the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of February and March from 1:00 - 4:30 PM and is FREE to Members! (no appointment necessary)

Aqua Low Impact
8 week class: Runs from Oct.3-Nov. 21

Invigorate your body and avoid joint and muscle pain by moving your arms, legs, and trunk in all potential angles of motion. The low impact training format is specifically designed to enhance core stabilization, strength, flexibility, and light cardiovascular endurance. This class is ideal beginner, arthritic and prenatal participants.

Aqua Body
8 week class: Runs from Oct.3-Nov. 21

Have some fun and exercise all at the same time! This brand new class is an intense strengthening, muscle toning and cardiovascular conditioning class taught for the whole body. A great cross training alternative.

Aquatics Class for joint replacement patients!
Every Wednesday and Friday
10:30-11:15 a.m.
This class is designed especially for joint replacement patients transitioning from rehab to fitness, those anticipating joint replacement and those trying to prolong replacement surgery. Taught in the Warm Water Therapy Pool.
(Offered at no charge to HealthPoint Fitness Members—fees apply for non-members)

HealthPoint Swim Club
Go the distance with the Health Point Swim Club in our 25 yard lap pool! This program is free of charge to all members and is a great way to set personal goals and stay motivated to swim that extra mile. Just come in, swim, and write down the # of laps swam on the card provided near the aquatic office. We will keep track of them for you! Exciting awards will be offered as you progress in mileage.

Kick Fit

Grab your flippers and jump in! Kick Fit will now be offered on Tuesday evenings beginning May 4th!!! Kick fit focuses on improving cardiovascular capacity and strength, increasing your flexibility, building stamina and improving your kicking technique. Targets problem areas including abs, buttocks, hips and thighs. This class is not recommended for non-swimmers. Kick boards and swim buoys provided. You must provide your own fins. Fins can be purchased in the pro-shop for $22.

Aqua Attack

Aqua Attack is a dynamic water class that incorporates different elements of martial arts, kickboxing and traditional Water Aerobics. The water’s resistance cushions & slows the explosive aerobic kicks & punches. Join us for heart-pumping, muscle building exercises that will leave you saying, "I didn't even know I had muscles there!" 60min.

Shake A-Wake

Need a new group fitness adventure? Shake things up with Shake A-wake. This fabulous early morning water class is not only a great way to start the day, but also fantastic way to improve your fitness. This medium intensity aerobics class is great for regulars and beginners. All levels welcome!

Aqua Tone & Pilates

Intensity: Medium
Whole body strengthening, stretching and balance work is the primary focus of this class. The first half of the class consists of moderate intensity cardio and the second half is followed by specifically designed Pilate’s moves, which are great for stabilization, endurance and flexibility. This class is fantastic for all levels!

Water Volleyball
Regulation size volleyball net will be set up in the therapy pool for all to enjoy during the following times:
Tuesday, 5:00-6:00 a.m.
Wednesday, 7:30-10:00 p.m.
Thursday, 5:00-6:00 a.m.
Saturday, 7:30-10:30 a.m.

H20 Challenge

Jump in and challenge yourself! This is an ideal class for those who want to vary their resistance training and cardio workouts. H20 Challenge incorporates the use of resistance equipment along with cardio training and fun water fitness routines.

Water Running

Work at your own pace using the bottom of the pool for movement forward and back, as well as running and jumping for added intensity. This class focuses on cardiovascular training in the shallow end of the pool. Improves endurance and burns calories by using the resistance and currents of the water.

H2O Interval

Discover an invigorating and energetic aqua aerobics class. The gradual progression of intensity intervals followed by recovery periods will have your body experiencing a total body workout.

Suspension 45

Intensity: High
45 minutes of "Don't touch the bottom of the pool" cardio and resistance training. Conducted in the deep end of the pool. Will challenge even the fittest individual. All work is done with buoyancy belts and/or buoyancy devices. Even though this class is geared toward high intensity, the beginner can adapt to all exercises.

Arthritis Class

For those who need range of motion exercises without any intensity. This class concentrates on joint movement. It is also designed to help relieve pain and stiffness associated with various forms of arthritis and is sure to enhance your flexibility, circulation, and relaxation.

Aqua Fun-Addicts

This high energy aquatic class is ideal for those who want to keep things fun and fresh. This class is taught differently every time so it is constantly providing stimulus to the body. This ensures effectiveness in delivering a high energy and calorie burning class!

JUST FOR KIDS!!

Dolphins Swim Club

(Ages 6-13)
Dolphin Swim Club will re-continue beginning Monday, September 6th!!! This club provides children ages 6-13 the opportunity to use the lap pool for fitness or competition purposes. During the scheduled times, children will be guided and motivated by a water safety instructor on deck. This club is great for kids who would like to get into swimming for fitness or maintain their skills during the off-swim season.

*All children wishing to join the swim club must pass a prerequisite swim test prior to their enrollment. Classes will be held each week from 4:30-5:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Aqua Fit 'N' Fun

For Kids! (Ages 8-13)
Water safety instructors will lead participants on fitness-related adventures in the water. This hour will consist of water games and activities that keep children active while having a great time in the pool. ($3 per class)
