Southeast Diabetes Center hosts this free support group facilitated by Southeast’s Diabetes Educators. The programs are geared toward people who are living with diabetes and trying to control blood glucose. Friends and family members are also welcome.
At this month’s meeting, the support group will focus on how to manage the day-to-day challenges of living with diabetes. Participants will learn how to recognize diabetes burnout and how to cope with depression, stress and guilt. The presentation also will explain how to cope with diabetes at work and when traveling.
