Run-Ride for Ragan Biathlon
Saturday, June 6, 2015
Kick-off at 8 a.m.
Start & Finish: Downtown Cape Girardeau
The biathlon (a 5K run and 17 mile bicycle ride) is held to raise money to aid in the fight against breast cancer. Proceeds go to help fund mammography services to provide early detection of breast cancer for women in our region.
The event, first held in 2012, honors the late Ragan Ward Neilson, a Cape Girardeau native and the daughter of Dr. Robert and Barb Ward. Ragan died of breast cancer in October 2007 at the age of 32.
Participants register online at runrideforragan.com or obtain registration forms at HealthPoint Fitness in Cape Girardeau and Jackson.
$25 for 5K race and $65 for a biathlon team
