Q. How can I get Home Health service for my family members?

A. All of the nurses at Southeast Home Health are registered nurses. In addition, Home Health aides; Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists; Medical Social Workers and Nutrition Counselors also are available to help meet patients’ and families’ special needs.

A. Daily, if medically necessary.
Q. Are Home Health services covered by insurance?
A. Yes, in most cases. Home Health is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, VA insurance, Worker’s Compensation and most private insurance.

Skilled nursing visits to educate on disease management would incorporate assessment of the patient’s condition including diet, medications and early symptom management, which can prevent a hospitalization or potentially serious complications.
