Enjoy fun, food, music and beverages and a chance to win prizes hidden in thousands of eggs. Must be 21 to attend. BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket & Flashlight). There will be a contest for the most creative, original basket. Silent and Oral Auctions. Proceeds benefit the Southeast Hospice program to provide services to terminally ill patients. Tickets: $25

2013 Easter Egg Hunt for Adults Raises Nearly $32,000 for Southeast Hospice
The Easter Egg Hunt for Adults on March 23 at the Bavarian Halle in Jackson raised $31,800 to help Southeast Hospice patients.
The annual event, organized by SoutheastHEALTH Foundation, drew 460 participants who searched for more than 4,000 prize-laden eggs armed with their flashlights and decorated baskets.
Cook’s Catering served a barbecue dinner. Winners of the most creative, funniest and prettiest Easter egg baskets received prize baskets. The event included silent and oral auctions. Main Event Sounds provided the music.
Travis Bickings of Oran, Mo., won the Sikeston Bootheel Radio package grand prize. Barbara Hill of Sikeston, Mo., won a leather rocker recliner from Ross Furniture. The event featured $13,290 in total prizes, including gift certificates, cash gifts and other items.
