SoutheastHEALTH Foundation Extends Their Helping Hands

Angelina SeabaughYou never expect to be the victim of a devastating disaster.  However, that is what happened to me and my family in 2011.  We lost everything that we owned to the horrible flooding that hit our area.  The most overwhelming loss was that of a special dog in our life.  We didn’t know where to turn or even how to start the process of recovering from this disaster.   I didn’t even have clothes for work.

We were referred to Mary Burton-Hitt at SoutheastHEALTH Foundation, and my Southeast family jumped into action.   We were provided with clothes, housing materials, a gas card, a Wal Mart gift card, along with their prayers and hugs.

My husband stated to friends and family, “If it wasn’t for Southeast, we couldn’t have done it.” Thank you very very much to the Foundation and my Southeast family for their compassion and support.
