Southeast Missouri Hospital supports our Adopt A School, Central Middle School. Each Month, we participate in their Student of the Month ceremony, handing out special Orange Ribbons to the winners. We also publish the winners each month in the Southeast Missourian Junior Page, which is published the last Tuesday of the month.

Ms. Balsano salutes Bethany Skaggs

Bethany Skaggs is such a sweet girl.  I enjoy her great attitude, smiles, and hugs on a daily basis.  Bethany always gives 110% on every assignment.  Consequently, she has been on the honor role all 3 quarters.  She is a wonderful listener, great role model, and a joy to have in class.

Mrs. Gattis salutes Deja Reddin

Deja is a very happy young lady who always has a smile on her face.  She gets along well with all students in the class and strives to be a role model.  Deja works hard each and every day and turns in her assignments on time.  What a joy she is to have in class.  Congratulations Deja!

Mrs. Haggerty salutes JD Harding

J.D. has grown so much as a 5th grade student this year.  He has buckled down in his studies and committed to achieving high levels of academic success.  J.D. is a kind young man who includes everyone in group activities.  He reaches out to those who need help and is the first to offer assistance to teachers.  J.D. is a joy to teach! Congratulations! 

Ms. Hardin salutes Haley White

Haley is always prepared for class and willing to help anyone in need. Haley was a new student this year and has been a great asset to my room.  Thanks for all you do Haley!!

Mrs. Hunter salutes Jessica Hedrick

Jessica always has a positive attitude.  She comes to school with a smile on her face, ready to learn!  I can count on her to make good decisions, and always do her best!  Great job, Jessica!

Mrs. Mehner salutes Abigail Hess

Abby is an excellent conscientious student!  She turns in neat, high quality work and obeys classroom and school rules.  She makes her AR Goals every quarter, and is pleasant to work with.  Abigail also has a special talent!  Hopefully she’ll share this with us at the talent show!

 

Mrs. Dodd salutes Cheyenne Limbach

Cheyenne has really begun to shine during our second semester.  She is a student that does not need reminders of our classroom and school procedures which makes her a great role model for the rest of the class.  It does not matter what the task is that Cheyenne is faced with whether it be a spelling test or the MAP test, Cheyenne attacks it with all of her effort.  Her sixth grade teacher will be blessed with a self-confident student who has a wonderful sense of humor and outstanding work ethic. Congratulations!

Mrs. Hecht salutes Hannah Whitmore

Hannah is such a sweet girl and so well behaved.  She works hard to complete all of her assignments, meet her AR goal, and be a role model for others. Hannah is very respectful and friendly to those around her.  I feel very fortunate to have Hannah in my class this year. 

Ms. Lange salutes Laquetta Moore

Laquetta is a wonderful student.  She always has her work completed to the best of her ability, and she always has a positive attitude.  Laquetta is a hard worker, who asks good questions and participates in class.  I'm proud to have Laquetta in my class this year!

Ms. A. Malone salutes Miccah Davis

Miccah Davis is an awesome student! Every since she walked into the doors of CMS she’s wowed her teachers with her work ethic, politeness, and overall great character. She is someone that any student could pick as a great role model. I will miss her next year, but she will do great in 6th grade!

Mrs. Wischmann salutes Jabrell Kuykendoll

Jabrell has shown a massive improvement in behavior, homework habits and making the right choices.  Instead of handling an argument on the playground himself, he made the choice to walk away.  Jabrell's work habits are outstanding.  He uses his time wisely, works hard and puts forth his best effort.  He actively participates in class discussions, is a great help to me in the classroom and shows the utmost respect.  I am so very proud of the progress Jabrell has made!  Keep it up Jabrell, you're doing an excellent job!

Mrs. Deevers salutes Aaron Mehner

It is great having a student like Aaron in class.  He is a very responsible and respectful student who strives to do his best at everything.  You never have to ask him twice to follow instructions or turn in his work. Because of this, I know that he will do great things in the future.  Thanks Aaron for being a wonderful example of a Peaceful, Accountable, and Well-behaved student.  Keep up the great work!      

Mrs. Dugan salutes Jon Upchurch

Jon is a helpful student anywhere he’s found throughout the school.  He always takes the initiative to hold doors open and randomly help out within the classroom.  Jon has also done a terrific job improving his work and study habits.  Keep it up, Jon!

Ms. Ford salutes O’Teasha Brandy

O’Teasha is a joy to have in class.  Her positive attitude brightens each day.  She is kind and caring to her peers as well.  O’Teasha always turns her homework in on time.  O’Teasha sets good examples in behavior and academics.  Keep up the good work O’Teasha!

Mrs. Jones salutes Asa Conrad

Asa is a kind young lady to all her classmates and exceptionally respectful to her peers.  She helps take down the soccer nets everyday and often offers her assistance to help me in the classroom.  She consistently follows all paw rules.  What a joy she has been this year.

Mrs. Newman salutes Brittany Beard

Brittany is a model student for how a students’ behavior should be conducted on a day to day basis.  Brittany has never gotten a strike for misbehaving.  She is a true role model to others.  Brittany has DRAMATICALLY improved her assignment completion.  She has not received any strikes for incomplete homework in two months!  I appreciate the hard work Brittany is doing for me!  Be PROUD Brittany!

Mrs. Parker salutes Caleb Niederkorn

Caleb Niederkorn has an energetic spirit.  He is a good listener and his behavior is on track.  Caleb earns good grades and has made the honor roll every quarter this year.  It is a joy to have such a fun, positive student in my class.

 

Mrs. Shaffer salutes Rachael Long

Rachael is an excellent role model: she is responsible, hard-working, dependable, and trust worthy. Rachael puts forth her very best effort in doing whatever is asked of her. I am fortunate to have her in my class. Thank you, Rachael! You are appreciated!

Mrs. Stevens salutes Eleazar Edwards

Eleazar does not have any strikes for this month. He is a great kid with a lot of talent. He is also a hard worker and I enjoy having him in my class. Congratulations Eleazar!

Mrs. Valleroy salutes Alex Swan

Alex is a hard working young man who also knows how to enjoy life.  He is always smiling and rarely complains about having to do a task that he is not fond of.  He enjoys reading and works very hard in all academic areas.  Alex is a joy to have in class. Thanks Alex for all of you efforts.

Mrs. Wilson salutes Abby Goeckeler

All year long, she has consistently been one of the most hard-working, well-mannered, caring students in the classroom.  She has a bright future ahead of her!  Congratulations Abby!!

Mrs. Yates salutes Adam Coomer

Adam is so kind and caring.  He is a hard worker in class and would help anyone.  You will see him helping in the cafeteria everyday with a big smile on his face.  Adam is liked by all his classmates because they know he has a heart of gold.  Adam you’re awesome!!!

Mrs. Young salutes Cassie Abbott

Cassie has shown herself to be an outstanding student and friend to our whole class. She has totally transformed herself into a very well behaved, prepared, hard working, and thoughtful student. I have been so proud of all the effort she has put into her daily attitudes and work. Cassie is an awesome young woman and will be successful at anything she tries in the future. Congratulations!
