Brain Poster and Slogan Contest Award Winners

Winners received ribbons, a specially-designed t-shirt and a tethered ride in the world's largest Brain Balloon Friday, Sept. 21 at Capaha Park. Click on the winners names below to see the photos from the ceremony and tethered rides.

The balloon is the brainchild of Neurosurgeon Scott R. Gibbs, M.D., and is designed to increase awareness about the brain and its important functions. He served as master of ceremonies.

The contest is part of Southeast's celebration of a tradition of excellence in neuroscience. Read more about the visit in the newsroom.
