"The Radiation Therapy Department at Southeast Missouri Hospital is equipped to provide state-of-the-art radiotherapy to its patients. Our two linear accelerators deliver a broad range of both photon and electron beam radiation. Through computerized-based treatment planning, as well as conventional two-dimensional treatment planning and three-dimensional conformational treatment planning, patients receive the radiation therapy treatment that is best for them. Additionally, orthovoltage therapy is available for malignancies of the skin.

"Radioisotope therapy is available for a variety of conditions, including thyroid diseases and management of patients with diffuse bone pain related to metastatic disease. Intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy services are available as well."
