Consult: A Journal for Medical Professionals

It is with enormous pride and pleasure that Southeast Missouri Hospital introduces the inaugural issue of Consult, A Journal for Medical Professionals.

This new, quarterly publication will spotlight our state-of-the-art medical technology, our integrated services and our skilled and talented physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals who daily provide our region with the best patient care possible.

Consult is designed to keep medical professionals informed about the many advances being made in healthcare at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

The name Consult underscores the Hospital’s core philosophy that patients are best served by a team approach to healthcare that takes advantage of the expertise of a wide range of dedicated, caring medical professionals. That philosophy also is reflected in the fact that this quarterly publication will be distributed not only to physicians, but to a wide range of healthcare professionals throughout our 22-county service region in southeast Missouri and southern Illinois. Our readers include chief medical officers, hospital administrators, chief nursing officers, dentists, nursing directors, nurse practitioners, school nurses, pharmacists, nursing home directors, industrial nurses, and others.
