  • Service Record Program: Employees receive one-time bonus every five years for their years of service to the hospital.
  • Progressive Earned Time Off plan which provides you with 24 paid days off per year for vacation, holidays, personal business or illness. Accrual amounts increase with years of service.

  • Comprehensive group health insurance plan including in-patient, out-patient, and Major Medical. Payment is 80% of covered charges for In-Network providers or 60% if provided outside the Network after meeting annual deductible.
    Employee only coverage $53 per month
    Employee cost for family coverage $110 every month
    Available on first day of month following 30 days of employment
  • 100 percent employer paid Short Term Income Protection provides 2/3 of your salary up to 22 weeks in the event you are disabled and are unable to work. Maximum payment $1500 per week.
    Available after one year of health insurance participation
  • 100 percent employer paid dental insurance. Coverage includes routine checkups and diagnostic x-rays as well as restorative services and extractions.

  • 100 percent employer paid life insurance. Coverage is equal to one times your gross earnings for the prior 12 months of employment.
    Supplemental life available through payroll deduction
  • 100 percent employer paid retirement plan, after one year of employment
    Hospital contributions equal to 5 percent of your Gross earnings, regardless of employee voluntary contribution.
    7 year vesting schedule; Voluntary contribution 1-95% of gross.

  • Special Holiday Pay. Time-and-a-half pay if you work one of the six recognized holidays.

  • Prescription drug program. Prescriptions filled in any of our Pharmacies at a cost of $15 per script up to a 30-day supply.
  • Shift Differential. You receive extra pay for working Evening or Night shifts.
  • Educational Loans up to a maximum of $15,000 balance for employees enrolled in a hospital-approved course of study.
  • Wellness Programs are provided throughout the year by Southeast to encourage employees to be healthier. Some examples of past programs are: Maintain Don't Gain (during the holidays), cholesteral screenings at HealthPoint in Cape and Jackson, various walks and runs, smoking cessation, Think Lite, March Madness, Nutrition Bingo, Polker Walk, 12 Days of Wellness , Inch by Inch and many other activities and programs to reduce stress, reduce cholesteral, reduce blood sugar levels and blood pressure and live a healthier life.
  • Free enrollment to HealthPoint in Cape or Jackson is offered in the first month of employment at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Reduced monthly fees are given to employees and their families at both facilities as well.
  • Hospital Inpatient and Outpatient Discount: 50 percent discount on all expenses incurred at Southeast which are not covered by health insurance, excluding Doctor's Park and Outreach Lab.
  • Health Screenings. Pre-employment health screening, and annual screening required thereafter.
  • Scholarships: Tuition reimbursement: Employee must apply for scholarship and be selected to receive it by scholarship committee.
  • Call Pay: Extra pay for being available for certain jobs during off hours.
