Rehabilitation Nursing

Rehabilitation nurses help individuals affected by chronic illness or physical disability to adapt to their disabilities, achieve their greatest potential and work toward productive and independent lives. Our nurses begin to work with patients and their families soon after the onset of a disabling injury or chronic illness. Support in the form of education serves to empower these individuals when they return to home and or work. The rehabilitation nurse teaches patients and caregivers how to access resources that are helpful when they are on their own.
