Job Title:

Clinical Documentation Specialist

Department: Medical Records
Status:

Full time days (weekend rotation)

Duties:

Responsible for improving the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation to support the medical necessity and level of services rendered to all patients.

Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Missouri or registered health information management professional or certified coding specialist with no less than 2 years clinical documentation improvement experience; 3-5 years critical care, medical and surgical acute care nursing experience; 2 years of ICD-9 coding experience.

Other:

BS or BSN preferred.

Status:

Part Time .75 - 12 hour shifts; Day/Night

Duties:

RN duties on a critical care floor.

Primary care of critically ill patients in an intensive care setting with an emphasis on cardiovascular and post open heart surgical care.

Other:

Registerd nurse with one year experience in accute care setting; and BLS/ACLS.

Duties:

Duties:

Provide direct patient care in primary care office.

Job Title:

House Supervisor

Department: Clincial Support Services
Status:

Full time evenings and/or 12 hour evenings

Duties:

Provide house supervision, coordinate patient placements and staffing for nursing units. Working knowledge of the hospital required in order to successfully be a resource to staff.

Must possess excellent customer service skills, negotiation skills, and problem solving skills; function independently; responsible for clinical support and staffing oversight on the evening night and weekend shifts, patient placement.

Other:

RN, BSN Strongly encouraged.  At least 2 years of acute care experience, past management, supervisory or charge nurse experience required, CPR.


Job Title:

Registered Nurse

Department: SEMO Health Clinic
Status:

Part time .4

Duties:

Clinic location will be at SEMO University campus working with students and faculty.

RN for assessment & triage of university students, faculty & staff walk in clinic; will assess and refer to APRN of needed injections, PAP and pelvic exams; prescription referrals.

Other:

RN-BSN in state of Missouri. Emergency room or urgent care facility experience required; EMR experience preferred; must work independently and efficiently.

Certified Nurse Midwife

Duties:

Patient advocacy & education, excellent communication skills; must be flexible and team player, collaborate with physicians to provide direct services to the OB/GYN patients, including labor & deliver, other duties as designated and within scope or practice.

The certified midwife functions as a role model, teacher, innovator, colleague of all members of the health care team and collaborates with physicians to perform duties within the scope of practice and experience level for the CNM.

Other:

Required - completion of approved nurse midwifery program.
Required - certification according to the requirements of ACNM.
Preferred - 2 years experience as a CNM in family practice or OB/GYN services.

Nurse Manager

Department: Cancer Center (Infusion services)
Status:

Full time days

Duties:

The day to day responsibilities of ensuring the delivery of excellence in patient care while ensuring the efficient use of resources.

Nurse manager of infusion services with clinical oversight of nursing care at Southeast Regional Cancer Center; responsible for scheduling, patient activities and oversite, budgeting, patient safety, patient experience.

Other:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrolled in Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, certification in area of expertise or Nursing Administration, a minimum of 3-5 years staff nurse experience preferred; current CPR.

Department: Oncology-Hematology Clinic
Status:

Full time days (8 am - 4:30 pm)

Duties:

Performs nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of the patient under the direction of the charge nurse and/or team leader.

Be able to assist oncologist with all the areas of the specialty. Must have excellent organizational skills, able to multitask, phone triage; able to assist with procedures, complete histories and obtain information for physician.

Other:

RN in the state of Missouri. Oncology experience and knowledge preferred. Chemo therapy certification desired but not required; we will train. Applicant will be required to take the oncology certification exam when eligible.

Duties:

Provides direct patient care to ER patients.

Direct patient care to individuals with acute and/or chronic illness or injury; must possess good interpersonal skills with patients, families, co-workers and physicians; must have current BLS certification.

Other:

RN's currently licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri to practice nursing and have had a minimum of six months current experience relevant to the area they have chosen to work.

Duties:

The Registered Professional Nurse coordinates, plans, directs and implements the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.

Care of orthopedic patients with emphasis on total join replacement patients. Must be patient focused, a team player, have a positive attitude and good communication skills.

Other:

1-2 years experience as RN. Current CPR, RN licensure in good standing, prefer surgical patient care experience.

Chest Pain Center Coordinator

Department: Cardiovascular Services
Status:

Full time days

Duties:

Provides leadership in the coordination of chest pain/cardiac care across the inpatient and outpatient. Continue on in the hospitals cardiovascular program related to best practice for cardiac patients.

3 years experience in care of ACS patients in acute care, emergency care, cath lab or progressive care. Understanding of Word, Excel and Access programs. Leadership experience and experience with data collection preferred.

Other:

Bachelor Degree in Nursing or health related field.


Job Title:

Certified Surgical Technologist, RN or PA

Department: Surgery
Status:

Full time days with on call

Duties:

Scrubbing for surgical procedures. It entails a thorough grasp of sterile technique to function in the sterile field passing sterile instruments, sutures and other supplies to the surgeon

Works as a part of surgical team in preparation and maintenance of the sterile filed; works closely with circulating nurse and surgeon on passing sterile instruments and helping with surgical field exposures for heart team.

Other:

Graduate of surgical scrub technology school with 3-5 years operating room scrub experience and at least 1 year on open heart surgery scrub experience.


Job Title:

Department: CV Surgeons
Status:

Full time days (some weekends)

Duties:

Work directly with CV surgeons to assess patient needs in both clinic and hospital setting, make rounds on patients in hospital, schedule or case, vein clinic scheduling, insurance verification & assist with vein clinic procedures.

The CV RN will act as a liaison between the CV surgery clinic and the hospital. RN will work directly with the CV surgeons in the assessmento of PT needs in both the clinic and hospital settings. Making rounds on Pts in hospital (CTU, SPCU, ICU, MPCU, all floors).

Other:

RN in the state of Missouri, BSN or currently enrolled; certification as a CV nurse or some similar discipline is recommended. RN with cardiology or CV surgery background, or some cardiac ICU background required.

Duties:

Provides technical assistance in development of service codes. Provides training to departments on appropriate UB04 revenue codes.

Other:

Bachelor of Science in accounting, nursing or both, previous experience and traininig with medicare regulations and reimbursements, financial and clinical experience.


Job Title:

Nurse Practitioner

Department: ER Express
Status:

Part time .9 (72 hours bi-weekly, shifts vary)

Duties:

Provides direct patient care as Nurse Practitioner in Minor Care area of Emergency Services. Assesses patients, develops diagnosis, formulates plan of care, orders and interprets diagnostic studies, and collaborates with physicians and staff in Emergency Department regarding patient care, may provide some nursing staff development.

Other:

Must possess licensure as a RN in the State of Missouri, Certified by ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner or an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and have current Document of Recognition as an Advance Practice Nurse by the Missouri State Board of Nursing must be ACLS. BLS certified, (prefer NRP, PALS).

Health Educator

Department: Wellness Connection
Status:

PRN (varies) must be flexible 

Duties:

Provide community education related to health wellness. Must be knowledgeable in CPR, childrens programing, sibling and baby sitting.

Other:

Bachelors Degree in Health Promotion, Health Sciences, Exercise Science and/or Athletic Training, Health Management or LPN/RN with appropriate experience.
