Saxony Quilters Make Lovely Donation to Southeast Hospice

The Saxony Quilters have donated a beautiful hand made quilt to Southeast Hospice. The lovely quilt features hand embroidered blocks representing countries around the world.

A drawing for this quilt was held on Tuesday, September 8th at the Saxony Village. Donations were for $1 per chance or $5 for 6 chances.

This lovely quilt would be a perfect gift to the person who has everything. Proceeds from the drawing will benefit Hospice patients through the Hospice Patient Care Fund.

Hospice Saxony Quilt

Master quilters George Tucker and Helen Kreutz of Saxony Village; presented Pearla Smith of Southeast Hospice and Cheryl Dietrich of Southeast Missouri Hospital Foundation with $1,274. The money was raised by raffling tickets for a hand stitched quilt. The winner of the quilt was Jackie Ahrens from Cape Girardeau.
