Welcome to the Wound Center at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Although it is unfortunate that you have been struggling with a non-healing wound, we are happy that you have come to our center to allow us to help you heal your wound.
Chronic wound healing requires a team effort, and commitment from all of us is essential. The doctors and clinical staff at the Wound Center are committed to providing you with aggressive treatment options so that you may heal as quickly as possible.
As well, we need your commitment to the treatment plan. This means caring for your wound at home, eating a healthy diet, limiting your activity as your doctor and nurse have explained, always returning for follow up appointments, and following any other recommendations made by us at the center. By doing this we will all be successful!
The Wound Center’s regular business hours are Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Should you have any questions concerning the care of your wound please do not hesitate to call us during our hours of operation at (573) 331-6353. If you need to contact us due to an emergency outside regular business hour we recommend you seek treatment at the nearest Emergency Room.
