Southeast Missouri Hospital Ranks Among Top 10 in Missouri for Gastroenterology (GI) Surgical Services; Receives National Recognition Too

- Southeast is the only hospital in southeast Missouri to rank in the Top 10.
- Southeast has earned a Five-Star rating from HealthGrades for GI procedures and surgeries for the 2010 rating period. Southeast was also Five-Star rated for GI services in 2008.
- Southeast’s GI program also has received national recognition from the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). Southeast is one of only six GI providers in Missouri and 134 nationally to receive this prestigious award. Southeast is the only hospital in the southeast Missouri and southern Illinois region to earn ASGE recognition.
