The mission of Education Services
at Southeast Missouri Hospital is to serve as a
resource and provide educational opportunities
for all Hospital employees, as well as a resource
library for students and staff.
Education Services
is responsible for providing Hospital-wide
orientation, continuing education and competency
validation
of staff, students, and volunteers.
The department
also serves as a testing center.

In addition, Education Services manages
the Hospital loan program and scholarship awards
to employees as well as non-employees.
The staff
of Education Services includes Registered Nurses,
support service staff
including secretaries, and media librarians who are available to assist with
your educational needs.
Education Library Education Services
has a newly expanded professional library that
is accessible to all employees and students.
Students from all colleges and universities

full reference service is available by calling
the library at 573-331-6462. Employees
can also search the library collections through the hospital intranet. Education
Services houses the new Tigr system. Tigr is an in-hospital Video-On-Demand
and Scheduled Play Educational Service
available to staff and patients. Educational
videos
can be
requested by placing a simple phone call. Location The Education Services Library is located
on the 2nd floor of the Regional Cancer
