In addition to a leading-edge heart
surgery program, Southeast Missouri Hospital’s
Regional Heart Center includes a Cardiovascular
Services Department that offers a myriad of cardiac
diagnostic and treatment options.
The department features three fully-equipped
Cardiac Catheterization Labs for the diagnosis
and treatment of heart disease. |
|
The Cath Lab suite consists of
a four-bed pre-procedure area staffed by RNs and
technicians who care for patients immediately
before and after procedures. In the Cath Labs
themselves, cardiologists are assisted by an extensively-trained
and experienced staff of RNs and technicians.

also home to the Hospital’s Electrophysiology

a three-dimensional “mapping” study
of the heart to help pinpoint the origin of arrhythmias. |
