Professional Credentials

Dr. Ogle joined Cardiac & Vascular Surgeons in 1996. Prior to arriving in Cape Girardeau, he served as an attending physician at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Buffalo, New York. As an undergraduate, Dr. Ogle attended Queens College in Flushing, New York, earning a degree in biology.

Dr. Ogle earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the affiliated institution, Strong Memorial Hospital. There he served as Chief Resident in General Surgery. He continued his medical training with a residency in cardiothoracic surgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he again served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Ogle holds board certification with the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the Cape County Medical Society.

Personal Information

Dr. Ogle and his wife, Jeanne, make Cape Girardeau their home with their three children. Dr. Ogle is an avid outdoorsman and hunter.
