The Brain and Spine Center's Neurophysiology
Department is an all digital facility providing
both inpatient and outpatient services.
As a regional referral center for area hospitals,
the Neurophysiology Department provides: |
- Electroencephalography (EEG) -- used
to evaluate and diagnose seizure disorder, strokes
and metabolic disorders that affect the brain
- Electromyography -- detects nerve muscle
abnormalities
- ENG Testing -- used to evaluate movement
& balance disorders
- Intraoperative Monitoring

The Neurophysiology Lab houses the
latest, state of the art equipment and is staffed
by highly-trained technicians. A certified Audiologist
is also available to perform diagnostic hearing
services. |
The Neuroradiology Department utilizes
sensitive and specific equipment for the detection
and diagnosis of neurological disorders.
The Brain & Spine Center has fellowship-trained
neuroradiologists with specialized skills in:
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- (MRI) Cerebral Angiography
- Computerized Tomography (CT)
- Myleography
- Positron Emission Tomography
- Nuclear Medicine
- Plain Radiographs
