Neurophysiology offers digital expertise

The Brain and Spine Center's Neurophysiology Department is an all digital facility providing both inpatient and outpatient services.

As a regional referral center for area hospitals, the Neurophysiology Department provides:

  • Electroencephalography (EEG) -- used to evaluate and diagnose seizure disorder, strokes and metabolic disorders that affect the brain
  • Electromyography -- detects nerve muscle abnormalities
  • ENG Testing -- used to evaluate movement & balance disorders
  • Intraoperative Monitoring
The Neurophysiology Lab houses the latest, state of the art equipment and is staffed by highly-trained technicians. A certified Audiologist is also available to perform diagnostic hearing services.
 Neuroradiology

The Neuroradiology Department utilizes sensitive and specific equipment for the detection and diagnosis of neurological disorders.

The Brain & Spine Center has fellowship-trained neuroradiologists with specialized skills in:

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • (MRI) Cerebral Angiography
  • Computerized Tomography (CT) 
  • Myleography
  • Positron Emission Tomography 
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Plain Radiographs
