Southeast Missouri Hospital is
pleased to be hosting monthly meetings of the
Stroke Club.
Meetings are held the Third Thursday of each
month to provide education, support and encouragement
for stroke survivors and caregivers. |
- A group of stroke survivors, families and
friends who offer encouragement and moral support
to others.
- A self-help discussion group where stroke
survivors and their families meet to help one
another.
- A group dedicated to helping stroke survivors
and their families understand the many physical
and emotional challenges they may experience
as a result of stroke.
- A place to meet as equals to find meaning
and purpose by helping and teaching others.

- A place to meet new friends and learn from
them.
- A place to socialize and have fun with people.
Who can join the club?
- Anyone who has suffered a stroke or has had
stroke-like symptoms who wants to make a better
life for him/herself. Family members and concerned
friends are also welcome to join.
- There are no fees or dues.
