
Orthopedic Rehabilitation
Physical and Occupational Therapy services are
provided for all aspects of orthopedic care.
Treatments range from conservative care for mechanical
dysfunction to post surgical rehabilitation.
Care includes individually-designed home exercise
programs and education. Modifications to improve
independence in activities of daily living are
provided or recommended. Splints or orthotic
devices are fitted or fabricated to provide protection
and/or support. Therapy focuses on pain management,
joint mobilization, soft tissue stretching and
strengthening to improve function.
Women’s Health
Services include
therapy for urinary incontinence, pelvic pain & prenatal/postpartum
care and therapy for lymphedema management by
trained and certified therapists. |

Neurological
Rehabilitation
Services include a full range of multi-discipline
therapy designed to help patients regain their
maximum level of function. These services include
speech therapy, including communication & cognition;
physical therapy including gait, balance and
coordination; and occupational therapy including
basic and advanced activities
of daily living such as dressing, bathing, cooking and fine motor skills involving
the upper extremities.

Sports Rehabilitation
Services include therapy for patients of all
ages and for all types of sports injuries. Therapy
focuses on proper body alignment, flexibility
and strength which are all major factors in a
safe, healthy return to sports. |

TMJ Therapy
Physical
therapists work closely with dentists and orthodontists
to help relieve the pain and
dysfunction that characterize TMJ (temporal
mandibular joint) problems. Training by leading
national
and international experts in TMJ enables
the staff
to deal with the multi-faceted problems common
in TMJ dysfunction.
