To help them return to the workplace, injured
workers receive individualized therapy designed
by the occupational and physical therapist.
New injuries are treated for pain relief, healing and strengthening.
Work
conditioning
focuses on strengthening an individual's tolerance for work through exercise,
education and simulation of critical job demands. Other Workplus services
include Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)
and Functional Job Analysis (FJA).
Critical
job demands from the FJA are used to develop a screen to test potential
employees for the job. Active Injury Education
can be provided on the job site to help
workers and supervisors learn how to become involved in injury prevention,
identification of ergonomic risks, problem solving and job modification. |
