SportsMax: Sports Performance Program works
for Jackson track runner
Sports
Performance Program For Recreational or Competitive
Athletes of all Ages
Jenna
Holten has always been a track standout. The
unique SportsMax program offered by Southeast
Missouri Hospital helped the 16-year-old Jackson
High School track athlete realize her untapped
potential.
Athletes in all
sports, ages 11 and older, can benefit from SportsMax, formerly known as Force
Plus. This five-week
program
is designed to enhance an athlete's strengths and
improve the areas that need to be further developed
to excel in his or her competitive or recreational
sport.
Because each sport
requires different athletic abilities, Force
Plus is individualized to each
athlete, under the direction of Southeast's fitness
experts.
"The program has
made me a stronger runner. I've excelled in all
of our competitions, and I attribute all
of it pretty much to SportsMax. My trainer pushed
me to go harder than I thought I could – but
he proved to me that I could do it. And SportsMax is fun because you do a variety of exercises,
not
just a treadmill."
“I
got my personal best in the 200 meter by
over a second!"
-Jenna Holten, Jackson
High School track athlete
SportsMax is offered at Main Street Family Fitness
Center in Jackson and at HealthPoint Plaza in Cape Girardeau.
